Something’s gotta change!
I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun I had working backstage at Fellowship Church this weekend. I met awesome people and learned a lot. Throughout the weekend services, I realized how much I miss leading worship and creating worship experiences. I just wanted to grab my guitar and go out there and sing my heart out with the team!
It has been a couple of years since I was actually excited to wake up (especially early on a Sunday morning)! I have definitely been out of my “sweet spot” for a loooonnnnngggg time. I miss touching people’s lives. I have used other methods through school and jobs to touch lives, but it is not cutting it anymore. I miss leading worship!
I had an awesome weekend doing some of what I love, then spent today at home. I’m still waiting on the second interview for Best Buy. I have blown them up trying to get something moving, but like everything else, someone is waiting on someone else, who is waiting on Jesus to come back. As I sat here today, with a mixture of frustration and purpose, I internally screamed, “something’s gotta change!”
